 Paul and Jo

Just before Christmas in 2001 I (Paul)was thinking back on my highschool days. This was due to the fact that my 30th class reunion was coming up. Back in those days I was active in music through the school choir, and a smaller performance group called the Radio Choir. During my senior year, I was partnered up with Joanna. As my thoughts drifted back on those days, I found myself wondering what ever happened to Joanna... It seemed to me that I had heard that she was still in Sarasota Florida, where we had first met in school, and so I looked up 411 on the internet, and sure enough, there she was. After a little time wondering how she might react to call from someone she hadn't seen in 30 years, or if she'd even remember who I was, I called. Little did I know how that phone call would change my life! We started emailing, then phoning, and discovered that we held many similar interests and passions in our lives.... Six months later we got married and began our life together. A shared journey that keeps getting better with every passing day.

Christmas 2005.
Jo and I have been together now for 3 1/2 years and we continue to grow and explore life together. There are so many ways in which we are just perfect together, our love of nature, music, art, animals, and even the way we love to explore the backroads together.
Here are pictures of some of my favorite moments with Joanna from the last few years .

Dear Joanna

Merry Christmas

Ifeel so blessed to have a person like you in my life. I love our talks, you always say the right things and since I've moved north with Dale, it seems we now have more in common.
Thanks again for listening.
I love you and wish only good things for you.

Love Melanie

What Grandma means to us.

She means believing in true love after your forty, becoming a proud grandparent when you think your chance is up.

Playing piano and watching kids movies.

Playing with pretend skunks and real ones.

Playing for hours with us, a box and some stuffed toys.

Teaching kids how to be the future leaders of the world; but also to act like kids when you still can.

She means leaving the warm state of Florida to come to Ontario all in the name of love.

She always puts other people first and makes you feel so good about yourself.

So what does Grandma mean to us? Everything and we know we mean everything to her!

Merry Christmas
